Thank you!

Just a quick post today. I recently learned that some of the people that I thanked in the acknowledgments of my last book (published in 2017) still didn’t know. So, thank you to the following:

June Contino

Laura L Cantrell

Karen Lind

Betty Haven Pratt

Debbie Newman

North Bend Public Library staff (including Katelynn Nordholm, Holly Mikowski, Holly Yovino, Barb Kilmer Keller, and Nancy Joy!)

Gary Sharp

Lyn Johnston

Kimie Wright

Becky Martin

Clara Piazzola Robbins

Alan Mitchell

Bill McNair

Jerry’s Rogue River Jets

Jim Poehl

Bandon Historical Society

Michelle Nash

Coos History Museum

Victor West

Arcadia Publishing

Katelyn Carter

Stacia Bannerman

As always, I thought of more people after the book went to print. So, even if I didn’t list you by name, thank you!

Writing can often feel like a solitary activity, so it’s important to have a strong support system in place. I know from firsthand experience that we writers can be our own worst critic. I’m incredibly grateful for the people in my life that encourage me to keep writing.

A quick update– I have two manuscripts of novels that I’m getting close to completing. I plan to “indie” publish them later this year. (Fingers crossed!)

Thanks for reading!

H. S. Contino
